Diffley Partnership have been commissioned to conduct The Our Place, Our Prosperity – The Voice of Communities Survey on behalf of Highlands and Islands Enterprise.

Highlands and Islands Enterprise are interested in your experiences of Community Wealth Building – a people-centred approach to local economic development, involving redirecting wealth back into the local community to ensure local people benefit.

Taking part in this survey will help Highlands and Islands Enterprise and partners to better target support to communities across the Highlands and Islands.

If your group has a social purpose, benefits a geographic community, operates on a non-profit basis, and is controlled by local residents, we want to hear from you. We’re also keep to hear from those who already own community assets like land or infrastructure, as wwell as those exploring these opportunities – all your insights are invaluable.

The survey asks you questions about your community group or organisation, exploring a range of topics, including:

  • Motivations and drivers,
  • Volunteer and employee contributions,
  • Engagement with the local community,
  • Language, culture and heritage,
  • Assets and income sources,
  • Aspirations and support needs.

Thank you for your time.
