‘Scottish Spring’ Polling

We are happy to present the findings from our ‘Scottish Spring’ polling conducted on behalf of Electoral Reform Society Scotland. Participants were asked a series of questions about:

  • Their degree of trust in Scottish institutions,
  • Their emotional mood when considering how things are in Scotland and their local area,
  • Views on power and governance,
  • And the degree to which they participate in the democratic process

See the following links for the topline findings, in-depth tables with demographic breakdowns of each question, and slides presented by our Director, Mark Diffley, at ERS Scotland’s conference, ‘A Scottish Spring: Building a Democracy fit for the 21st Century’.
